More than 150 volunteers helped a Muslim charity hand out food and winter clothing to an estimated 1,200 needy in Calgary, Canada.
The Muslim Families Network Society (MFNS) a non-profit NGO , provided canned food, warm clothing and grocery gift cards to newly arrived Syrian refugees and many others needy in the area.
Idrees Khan, the chairwoman of the society said “We are making no distinction; we are serving everybody who is in need,”.
She added ” Newly arrived Syrians had more than 10 family members, all in need of help.
