The Gaza Health Ministry has so far confirmed the deaths of 82 Palestinians in Gaza due to Israeli air strikes which started on Tuesday.
The deadliest strikes happened on Tuesday and on Thursday, both causing eight deaths – Tuesday’s strike tore down a house in southern Gaza, while Thursday’s strike took out a home in Khan Younis.
Of the 82 dead, 21 are aged 16 and lower. 80-year-old Naifeh Farjallah has been the oldest victim of the strikes, while 18-month-old Mohammed Malakiyeh has been the youngest victim so far.
Allan Sorensen, reporter for Danish newspaper Kristeligt on Wednesday posted a remarkable picture on his twitter account of Israelis in the town of Sderot sitting on chairs at a beach to hear missile strikes. The town of Sderot is only hundreds of meters away from the Gaza border.
“Sderot cinema Israelis bring chairs to the hilltop of Sderot to see. They clap when they hear a blast the last of Gaza…” he tweeted.

1. 24-year-old Mohammed Sha’aban, killed in a car bombing in Gaza City.
2. 30-year-old Ahmad Sha’aban, killed in the same bombing.
3. 45-year-old Khadir al-Bashiliki, killed in the same bombing.
4. 27-year-old Rashad Yaseen, killed in a strike on the Nusseirat refugee camp.
5. 50-year-old Riad Mohammed Kawareh, killed in a strike on his home in Khan Younis.
6. 8-year-old Seraj Ayad Abed al-A’al, wounded in the same strike, succumbing to injuries on Tuesday evening.
7. 15-year-old Mohammed Ayman Ashour, killed in the same strike.
8. 22-year-old Bakr Mohammed Joudah, killed in the same strike.
9. 26-year-old Ammar Mohammed Joudah, killed in the same strike.
10. 13-year-old Hussein Yousef Kawareh, killed in the same strike.
